FAQ's
Every registrant that signs up by the shirt guarantee deadline of 10/20 will definitely receive a shirt of the correct size. Since all shirts are pre-ordered with limited size quantities, anyone that registers after the deadline should hopefully receive a shirt still, but the closer to race day you sign up, the lower your chances are of getting a shirt and the correct size. We suggest you register by the deadline or as close after the deadline as possible.
***This year, as of 11/21 at 9 AM, we had to turn off shirt orders through the online registration platform to ensure all registrants that signed up by 10/20 receive the correct shirt size. We do still have some remaining shirts, so the majority of registrants after the deadline will still get a shirt, it just may not be the exact size you prefer. If we run out of shirts completely, there will be none available for sale for $10 at and during the event. We've experienced considerable growth this year and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
***Any late registrants that do not receive a shirt at all, please email all registrants in your group/family that were affected to jamie@greensborogobbler.com after the event and we'll do our best to accommodate you. We appreciate you and hope you have an amazing race experience & a very Happy Thanksgiving!

No post-race party or activities are held after the Greensboro Gobbler as it's held on Thanksgiving Day and most participants prefer to get home to their families for Thanksgiving festivities. We are hoping to get a few vendors on board this year offering free and/or discounted snacks/drinks and if so, they will most likely stick around for a bit for anyone wanting to hang out and visit.

Yes! We take the safety of all participants, spectators and staff very seriously and we typically have at least 17 police officers present on race day helping with traffic and guiding participants along the course. They also take into consideration an emergency plan as part of the operational plan that is put together each year which includes plans regarding any type of possible threats, hazards, and risks that could arise.
